Interdisciplinary cooperation is becoming increasingly important. The Research Atlas makes it easier to find researchers both within one’s own discipline and across disciplines. We promote networking within the community by documenting, linking and making searchable information on research projects, actors and research topics.
The research atlas is under development and can currently only be used for testing purposes.
Explorative search tools can be used to identify researchers based on their research output as well as knowledge networks based on the research topics and locations.
In addition to the search functions, the Research Atlas offers the possibility to create your own profiles and link them to existing information – based on your ORCID profile.
The Research Atlas is based on the open source software VIVO. The functions provided by VIVO are extended, adapted to the needs of the community and made available (GitLab) for subsequent use.
