From the digital reconstruction of destroyed architecture to contemporary computer-based planning and manufacturing processes to the networked city of the future – the specialized information service BAUdigital focuses on digital methods and technologies in the fields of civil engineering, architecture and urbanism.

FID BAUdigital identifies the specific requirements for scientific publishing arising from research in civil engineering, architecture and urban studies and develops measures and services to support Open Access publications.

The FID BAUdigital research data repository supports researchers in publishing research data and will offer various services. It is developed specifically for the fields of civil engineering, architecture and urban studies (urban planning) and will be enriched with standardized metadata as well as subject thesauri.

The research atlas will be generated for the community to facilitate the search for research activities and access to infrastructure and service offers. The aim is to make subject-specific information and actors visible and to support the identification of expertise and experts.
